We watched this movie last night. While I’m always happy to see Portland as a filming location, it felt more New York or Detroit in the grit and violence than it did Portland, a city of introverts with fewer house parties than depicted. Also, depressing as hell—poverty in a deep, cyclical hole few Americans can crawl out of.
