I am pretty sure Epstein Barr is the ghost haunting my body. COVID unlocked a year of tiredness akin to my six months of high school mono. Any time I get mildly unwell I have surprise extra symptoms like extreme fatigue, dizziness, severe brain fog, headaches, and nausea—nothing definitive enough to complain about, but debilitating nonetheless. All the coffee in the world and bullheaded attempts to push through do not help at all. Let’s hope Lupus never finds me.
