We saw the new Superman movie last night, and I second pretty much this entire review. Gunn is finally a modern director who understands what makes the character work and draws on some of the best source material (Grant Morrison's All-Star Superman). I'm curious to see what he does too with the lesser-known Justice League characters, given the very fun handling of Guy Gardner and Mr. Terrific.
