After 16+ years, I finally wrote up my article on my city's rum distillery that produced Somerville Distillery Rum from the 1880s until Prohibition. This was a project that began in 2007-08 with a curiosity sparked by reading Wayne Curtis' And A Bottle of Rum that mentions Somerville rum and that led me to do research in starting in 2009.
