Sports teams sign big $$$ TV deals, then get frustrated when airing games costs fans big $$$. Naturally TV viewership drops significantly, driving down long term fandom numbers. It's a downward spiral. While I'm okay with fewer Cubs fans in the world, I haven't watched an MLS game in years because I don't have Apple TV.
