You cannot be pro 'states right' and in favor of this regressive move against local decision making 😞. During the Civil War the State took over St Louis' police department to ensure compliance with state (slavery) laws. It took over 100 years to remove that burden, now it's back to prevent a black woman from leading the police force. The local PD Union are the core instigators.
