While accepting the party’s nomination for president, Kamala Harris indicated her support for YIMBY policies by promising to "end America's housing shortage." Barack Obama was even more explicit in his speech: “We need to build more units, and clear away some of the outdated laws and regulations that made it harder to build homes for working people in this country."
