Protest voting is a misapplied heuristic akin to a toddler having a tantrum. This is real life, and participating in democracy is a civic duty. Not voting doesn’t accomplish anything positive in terms of who is running, who is elected, or how elections are conducted. If you don’t like it, work to change it. No one takes direction from the tantrummer.
