Several cyclist deaths in Portland this week remind me to do everything I can to be visible on the road. In addition, we actually DO need traffic cameras, traffic cops, and consequences for bad driving when drivers hit cars and are clearly at fault. (Look, I have enjoyed the pirate parking free-for-all as much as anyone, but lives are at stake here.)
