Lena’s a bit controversial to me, as she embodies a fearless wit alongside an atypical mean girl dimension that is best understood by watching her character in HBO’s Girls. Regardless, that show remains the most realistic depiction of post-college life in New York during its suburban-safe years that I’ve ever seen. Catherine Called Birdy was also excellent (as was the book), so I’m definitely looking out for her upcoming series, Too Much.
