RIP David Boaz. I don't describe myself as a libertarian as often as I used to, in part because some of the currently most visible factions of the libertarian movement are not ones I want to be associated with. But David Boaz's libertarianism -- socially tolerant, intellectually (and grammatically!) rigorous, wide-ranging, generous, and kind -- is the style we need much more of. The movement is far better for his decades-long leadership at Cato.
