For example, lawns, gardening, hiking, and electric cars are aesthetically, superficially "green.” They seem natural. “Back to the land.” But they are not necessarily environmentally friendly or ecologically sustainable. Lawns, for example, are demonstrably absolutely terrible for the environment.
