My babies, I get up in the morning in order to prove motherfuckers wrong. I pray every night for the strength to make a motherfucker work. Sure, I want to upzone Huntsville and house all our unhoused and reduce racial residential segregation and close the Black/white wealth gap and equalize access to high-quality education and high-paying jobs and reduce carbon emissions etc. etc.
What gets me out of bed in the morning
This week I talked to my therapist about a recent meeting with two reps from two departments of Huntsville City relevant to housing and homelessness. He wanted to know how I felt about the meeting overall. Which led me to think about what gets me out of bed in the morning.
