A bit long but an interesting perspective on AI assisted writing. An aside, this the second case recently (the other being an episode of Crooked Media's Offline) where the writer talks about how AI alignment has made GPT-4 models noticeably worse. It's an interesting tension and also makes me nervous/excited about what is available behind closed doors.
