Fairly balanced take on the latest Cochrane review of masks. I'd like to see more RCTs and generally trust the physics, but a takeaway here is that non-compliance, misuse, and low-quality masks are going to make the effectiveness of mandates (rather than masks themselves) hard to measure. But if, say, avian flu started spreading, would I take this review as reason to not mask up? Definitely not.
