I'm lucky that Seabird cofounder Courtney convinced me to finally start wearing one in time to save my cranium in the kind of single-bike crash they're most helpful for. (Highly recommend those stylish Thousands helmets!) But as this article makes clear, it takes infrastructure to make cyclists actually safe from cars.
