Lots of good advice here on how to optimize Twitter. Personally, I underutilize lists. My favorite piece of advice, as a founder of Seabird: "A good follow often posts rarely, but makes your life better when they do post. Having 10,000 people who post once a year but post a lot of great stuff is great. If someone almost never posts, but you know they’re someone worth engaging with in general, that’s usually a great follow."
