The federal minimum wage is criminally low (only $2/hr more than what I earned in 2002 as a retail worker). Glad to see statistics proving wrong the naysayers who claim that raising it will close businesses and destroy the economy. Turnover is the most expensive—pay good workers what they’re worth.
